Clifton Early Years recruitment expert celebrates with Class

Clifton Early Years recruitment expert Jo Staynings has been celebrating with Class, as she recently completed one year as a valued part of our team.

Having joined our Clifton-based Early Years recruitment agency as a Recruitment Administrator, Jo has a wide-ranging and varied role in the office.

Jo looks after important elements of Early Years recruitment compliance, including DBS checks and Right to Work paperwork for candidates.

She also supports Karen and Lucy in their recruitment placement work across Bristol. This can include booking shifts for candidates, calling Bristol nurseries for staffing updates, and placing job adverts on Indeed.

Jo previously worked directly in the Early Years sector, starting work as a Practitioner in a nursery and working up to being the Deputy Manager.

“It was Karen who actually got me my first Early Years role in Bristol, so I have known the Class team for a long time and have enjoyed a brilliant working relationship with them,” said Jo.

Having worked at one Bristol nursery setting for a long time, Jo has gained invaluable industry experience and brings a wealth of nursery knowledge to her role as Recruitment Administrator at the Clifton Village office.

“There are regular candidates who are provided with weekly work, as well as students who take on part-time nursery roles across the city. It’s great to be able to offer flexible working for long-term agency candidates as well,” added Jo.

Having worked in Bristol as an Early Years Practitioner and management professional, Jo is able to provide superb insights into what is required to be a good nursery worker, as well as quickly identifying what Early Years settings in Bristol are looking for in their recruitment needs.

“It’s a great place to work, Karen and the team are fantastic, and there’s flexibility within my role around family commitments. The team has grown to seven in the last year, we all get on well, and are able to gain brilliant bonuses and perks in line with hitting targets,” concluded Jo.

Class Recruit place Early Years candidates with nursery settings in the following parts of Bristol:

Yate, Kingswood, Downend, Speedwell, Keynsham, Lyde Green, Emersons Green, Bradley Stoke, Filton, Horfield, Southmead, Clifton, Redland, Westbury, Stoke Bishop, City Centre, Southville, Bedminster, Knowle, Ashton Gate and Flax Bourton.
