Following a recent blog post we published, we thought it would be useful to highlight upcoming free SEND advice for Early Years practitioners in Bristol.
Nursery World is hosting a free seminar to show Early Years educators how new government-funded training can help to identify and support SEND in their settings across Bristol.
The webinar will be at 11.15am on Thursday 02 July, with a panel of early education experts discussing how practitioners and settings can support children with SEND.
The Nursery World seminar is sponsored by Best Practice Network (BPN), which has been awarded a Department for Education contract to deliver accredited Early Years Special Educational Needs Coordinator (EY SENCO) training to settings across England this year.
This offers 9,500 training places to practitioners in group-based Early Years settings.
The panel will discuss a variety of topics, such as the challenges around SEND identification and how training could provide solutions for both settings and Early Years practitioners.
The free seminar will give Bristol nurseries and candidates practical tools and suggestions to help in daily practice, and details about EY SENCO training.
It is an online free webinar - secure a free place for 02 July here.
