A national organisation has called for urgent action following survey results published, indicating that there could soon be a pressing need for alternative childcare jobs for nannies in Bristol.
The National Nanny Association has carried out a survey of 500 nannies, finding that many are concerned about job security within the childcare sector.
Employment for nannies has been under threat in recent years, due to factors such as parents spending more time working from home, extension of the funded early education hours, and economic pressures faced by parents.
According to the survey, 67% of nannies felt that there is a lack of full-time nanny roles.
At Class Recruitment, we have been able to offer alternative childcare jobs for nannies in Bristol for some time, with considerable extra benefits in the roles.
Our team of experienced Early Years recruitment consultants in Clifton have been successfully placing nannies in temporary, permanent and full-time positions in nursery settings across various BS postcodes.
As trained and qualified childcare professionals, nannies bring a wealth of experience to a nursery setting, and our long-term working relationships with nursery owners across Bristol means that we are well-placed to help nannies looking for childcare-based positions.
